White Tank Mountain Regional Park is the largest regional park in the Maricopa County park system, covering roughly 30,000 acres of Sonoran Desert immediately north and west of Verrado. It offers about 26 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails (including the popular Waterfall Trail), a nature center, and campgrounds. Entry fees and hours are set by Maricopa County Parks.
